EXCLUSIVE: Interview with Eva Simons

       Eva Simons is a Dutch singer-songwriter. She started her music career at 18 when she auditioned for the Dutch "Popstars the Rivals", eventually joining the girl group Raffish before leaving the group to focus on a solo career.
       In mid 2010, Eva & Mike Hamilton  wrote the song “Take Over Control”. They played the idea to DJ Afrojack, who produced the hit single, which spent 6 weeks on the Billboard Top Dance Airplay Chart and gained Platinum status in Australia and certified Gold in the US. The song has become a globally dance crossover anthem, propelling the profiles of both Eva and Afrojack worldwide.
       In 2011, as well as touring across the globe, Simons has gone on to sign a major label US deal, and is featured on LMFAO's track "Best Night". In addition to this, Eva has also collaborated with Will.i.am on tracks for his upcoming solo album.
       On March 20, 2012, Eva Simons premiered her new single, "I Don't Like You". The track is produced by Zedd.
       In March 2012, Eva Simons and RedOne (works with Porcelain Black, Lady GaGa, Jennifer Lopez, and many more) were working together.

1. Hello, Eva! How are you?

Eva Simons: I am great! thank you for asking!

2. You became very famous after collaboration with Afrojack, Will. I Am, Chris Brown, LMFAO. How is it to work with all that artists?

Eva: They are very kind hard working people...

3. Which are the 3 secrets to become a superstar?

Eva: I don't know. But I think it helps if you are focussed, work hard and believe in your own strength!

4. Which has been the toughest moment in your career? Has you ever thought about giving it up?

Eva: Never. I am too positive and too much of a optimist to see things as a struggle or tough. Just learn from your mistakes and continue.

5. Which are the most important lessons you have learned throughout your career?

Eva: Focus and just be yourself. Also be Humble and just be a good person and good things will come to you.

6. How much time do you spend in the studio?

Eva: Every day. As I always carry all my recording stuff with me...Even when I am on tour...so I can always record new material as I record most of my songs myself.

7. Do you have time for your personal private life? What do you do in your spare time?

Eva: Not much, but I am living the live I wanna live y'know. I've got a great family and great friends who support me. I love my family dinners and my chill moments with my friends at the park.


8. A few days ago, you released video "I Don't Like You", which I like very much. With whom you worked to realize this production?

Eva: The director Justin Purser came with this crazy idea to build a LED tunnel which was so me!! I loved the idea. I mean, the whole video just turned out to be amazing. The whole team was amazing, from hairstylist to stylist to my girlfriends in the video and the dog! haha

9. When are you planning to release a new album?

Eva:  This year!!! I am so excited! wooooohoooooh!

Piesa a fost produsa de ZEDD si e marca Interscope Records. In videoclip o vedem pe Eva Simons razbunandu-se pe fostul iubit, distrugandu-i toate bunurile din casa acestuia, dar nu se razbuna singura, ci este ajutata de 2 prietene. Imi place la nebunie piesa "I Don't Like You", care deja a intrat in playlist-ul meu.
